I Married the Love of My Life

Love is a beautiful thing, especially when you do it right! December 2019, my husband and I matched on Hinge. I don’t know if we thought that little our connection would grow into what we have today, but we have officially been married for one month and three days!

The Planning Process

Wedding planning is so stressful, and our wedding wasn’t without its challenges. Initially, we planned to get married at, Breathless-Adults Only, All Inclusive resort, in Montego Bay, Jamaica. This is where we went for our one-year anniversary and first international trip together. After a lot of back and forth, we soon decided to do something simpler and get married outside of the courthouse in San Diego; however, that plan changed, too! At this point, our friends and family were getting kind of annoyed with all the changes. For that, I can take the blame! Not only can I be indecisive, but I also have an issue with sharing the full plan before it’s finalize. Basically, I struggle to “move in silence.”

Ultimately, we decided to “postpone” the wedding. At least that’s what we told everyone. In the background we were planning a micro wedding in, Pearl City, Hawaii. Instead of truly “eloping” we shared the news a few months before the wedding.

The Wedding

April 19, 2025, we were married at Manana Hills Estates, in Pearl City, on our fifth dating anniversary, with four of our loved ones present. It was the perfect, stress-free day! Instead of having a big reception after the wedding, we had dinner with a view at Deck, in Honolulu. After dinner we changed and headed to a Caribbean party. We were having such an amazing time, so we decided to stay two extra days!

What’s Next?

We have officially decided to call California our home for the next few years, I have gone through the tedious process of changing my last name, and soon we will go on our honeymoon to celebrate our love!

We have chosen a child-free lifestyle and plan to spend our days building our businesses and traveling the world.

Next stop on the list? Edinburgh, Scotland
