About Me.
Social Work Babe & Co.

Hey, Babes!
I’m Satasade — a licensed master level social worker (LMSW) who’s learning what life looks like after life on the road.
I got my bachelor’s in social work from Eastern Michigan University and my master’s from the University of South Carolina (go Gamecocks!). I started out working Adult Protective Services, then moved into hospice and hospital discharge planning as a travel social worker — basically, I’ve spent the last few years helping people through some of the hardest parts of life.
I do not consider myself a therapist in any aspect.
Travel social work has been a wild ride — full of new places, new faces, and a whole lot of growth. But lately, I’ve been feeling called to slow down a bit, build something steady, and just enjoy life.
This blog is my happy space. It’s where I share pieces of my journey — the lessons, the laughs, and everything in between. Think of it like a cozy little corner where we talk life, work, travel, and finding peace in the middle of all the chaos.
General resources all social workers should know can be found here. This is not a comprehensive list and will require additional research on your part, but it's a good list to start. If you have additional resources that you feel would be helpful, please email me!
I'm currently not on social media; however, if you would like to connect with me to ask questions or for a collaboration, please feel free to do so or you can check out my Youtube channel (is this considered social media?? lol).
If you think you are ready to experience travel social work for yourself consider purchasing my ebook below!
Glad you’re here, really. ♡
— Sincerely, SC
